Eine für uns Deutschen unbekannte Zeitform ist das "Present Progressive". Eine Zeitform in der der Ablauf einer bestimmten Handlung beschrieben wird.

Bildung des Present Progressive:

(am, are, is) + Verb + ing

Kevin is reading a book right now.

Wirklich auch eine sehr leichte Zeitform.

Das Simple Present ist im deutschen die Gegenwart oder das Präsens. Es die wohl am leichten zu bildende Englische Zeitform.

Die Grammatik ist ganz einfach zu verstehen:

Bei I/you/we/they wird immer nur das normale Verb drangehängt. Die Frage beginnt immer mit "do". Verneint wird mit "do not" oder "don't" was genau dasselbe ist.

Bei he/she/it kommt eine winzige Änderung dazu. An jedes Verb wird noch ein "s" herangehängt. Es ist auch nicht mehr "do" was verwendet wird, es ist "does". Damit beginnt auch die Frage.

Nun sollte alles klar sein, wie gesagt, das Simple Present ist wirklich sehr einfach
